My Experience
I visited the Covent Garden branch for some champagne and dinner. Dessert too of course! Service was really good throughout the evening and I chose the Chandon garden spritz from the bubbles at Browns menu which is available on Thursdays and Fridays.
Chandon garden spritz is a sweet sparkling wine blended with a liqueur made from spices and Valencia orange peels.
I enjoyed a starter of teriyaki chicken skewers, with a chicken schnitzel main. For dessert I chose browns dessert trio. A Vanilla crème brûlée, chocolate fondant with caramel ice cream plus mango & passion fruit torte.
Browns Brasserie Celebrated 50 Years
Since its opening in Brighton 50 years ago, browns restaurant has welcomed thousands of guests to enjoy their homemade British classics and seasonal creations, all accompanied by an extensive selection of cocktails, wines and Champagnes.
Browns restaurants now grace historical and culturally vibrant towns around the UK, often occupying landmark buildings like Old Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge or Westminster County Court in London's Covent Garden.
This year they've celebrated their 50th milestone in style, with the reopening of Browns Covent Garden and Spey Whisky & Cocktail Bar in the heart of London's West End.
To commemorate this special occasion, a royal toast was proposed during the coronation and four signature cocktails were crafted; such as the Lemon Bon Bon Bellini and the Brighton Original. What a wonderful way to honour their anniversary by introducing their iconic 50th Anniversary Afternoon Tea too!
