Lavo


Lavo is part of the TAO group who have created popular franchises such as Yauatcha and Hakkasan. They have already opened restaurants in Los Angeles, San Diego and Mexico City. Lavo, an Italian trattoria, has a unique design that stands out from the rest, with features like a tree right in the middle of the restaurant ala Big Mamma's Carlotta. The menu provides a distinguished Italian dining experience with popular dishes that include their renowned wagyu meatball and tagliatelle with caviar.

Chishuru


Adejoké Bakare is now preparing to launch version 2.0 of her restaurant, this time located in the bustling heart of London. At this larger premises, she'll continue creating West African delicacies using modern techniques with an open kitchen. Mouth-watering options include a forcemeat stuffed quail accompanied by taro root, ehuru and uziza sauce.

The Waterman


This time, a waterside pub in Barnes has reopened with a fresh new team. Its head chef was formerly at The Camberwell Tavern and the mastermind behind it is none other than the founder of Patty & Bun. Stop by to take in the selection of tasty pub bites such as lamb ribs, or perhaps opt for something from the main restaurant like their irresistible spit roast chicken with chicken fat polenta.

L'Atelier Robuchon


The Robuchon group has revamped what used to be Le Comptoir Robuchon, transforming it into L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon – the late chef's iconic restaurant in London. Along with a larger bar area, the eatery is featuring a brand new menu with the delightfully buttery pommes puree we always loved.

Owo restaurants


The former Old War Office building in Whitehall has been reborn as a Raffles hotel. This new incarnation features a range of impressive restaurants - from Mirazur chef Mauro Colagreco's signature restaurant and Mauro's Table to Paper Moon, Café Lapérouse, and more. Later this year, a Japanese-inspired restaurant & sake bar by Endo Kazutoshi will be added to the thriving hub - a transformation that took years of planning.

Honey & Co


Honey & Co's second Bloomsbury location will be unlike any of their other openings to date. With all-day dining available, the focus is on Middle Eastern baked goods, such as pastries, cakes and breads. Additionally, they've thrown supperclubs into the mix; beginning with a Rosh Hashanah celebration.

Bebe Bob


Bob Ricard is getting an exciting new sibling in Soho; Bébé Bob. This restaurant will try something different to its predecessor, instead featuring two styles of rotisserie chicken as well as caviar alongside blinis that diners can watch being prepared tableside. 

Though they'll eschew the signature 'Press for Champagne' button feature, be sure to keep an eye out for their tourteau fromagé dessert popping up all over social media soon!

Kayu Bakehouse


Kayu Bakehouse, the artisan dessert boutique from chef Karim Bourgi in Dubai, beckons with its speciality French desserts. Karim has trained in France before creating La Maison Du Chocolat and Hermes Paris Cafe here in Dubai. One can find croissants, pastries and macarons at this delightful eatery.

Eight Hundred Flavours


The culinary team at Barshu presents a delectable selection of street food from Qingdao. Their standout dish is the signature steamed fish dumplings – it's not to be missed!

Club Mexicana


The 35-seat spot in Market Row is sure to be a success for Club Mexicana, who have established themselves through their vegan tacos and cocktails.

Must & Lees


After two years of success at their wine shop and tasting room in Islington, Must & Lees have decided to expand. Along with cheese and charcuterie platters, they will be allowing customers to bring along food from other local vendors as an accompaniment for Must & Lees' wines.

It's Bagels


It's Bagels is now open in Primrose Hill with a full range of delicious NYC-style bagels. Choose from poppy, plain, sesame, garlic and onion varieties; each comes with an array of fillings.

The French Market


The team from the French Market in Whetstone are expanding into Finsbury Park, where they will be offering pastries, breads and sandwiches as well as French cheeses, charcuterie and other delicacies.

Zocalo


José Fonte and his business partners are planning to open Zócalo in Soho as their first launching point in London. Those who have not encountered the Mexican-themed restaurant on past trips to such places as Helsinki or Copenhagen will get to experience a unique build-your-own Latin American feast.

Sukoshi Sushi


Sukoshi Sushi is opening its doors on Cucumber Alley and introducing its sit-down sushi bar which can host up to 12 diners. This family business, started by Chef Andrew Le and his dad, has been making delicious sushi for over two decades. Their menu includes some classic items such as maki rolls, nigiri and creative bigger rolls.

Geode


The latest offering from Arrow Hospitality, Geode – named after a crystal – is a decadent three-storeyed Georgian townhouse. As you enter, you will be welcomed by a sculptural cocktail bar, and moving upwards, you will find yourself in a mezzanine conservatory with an open kitchen (equipped with pizza oven, rotisserie station and Robata grill). 

End your night in the late-night dining space above. To add to the experience, music will be played here too - as soon as the curtains are drawn, to symbolically ‘close the kitchen’. Executive chef Francesco Scala (ex-Novikov) and Yuka Aoyama (ex-Nobu, Roka and Annabel's) have created dishes which mix Mediterranean and Asian influences.

Finch 


Finch, a brand-new wine bar coming to Brixton, is set to bring English wines into the spotlight. The bar offers a selection of different varieties of wines from around the world, with a focus on smaller and more experimental winemakers. 

As part of Grays and Feather's avian-themed series (which includes Plume in Covent Garden since 2018 and Peregrine in Leadenhall Market opening this year), the intimate venue seats just twelve 'cabinet of curiosities'-style, inspired by the finch bird.

Outside has space for eighteen people and will also host rotating exhibitions from local Brixton artists as part of the Brixton Art Trail. If you'd rather snack on something else than their carefully paired bar snacks and sharing plates, Finch allows customers to bring their own food from other nearby venues.
