End of summer 2023 events in London

End of Summer events in London

Instead of sulk, I decided I should say farewell to the Great British summer in style. Join me in my endeavours and let's look forward to a beautiful Autumn season!

Jin bo law

Jin Bo Law

First off was a trip to Jin Bo Law. Situated at the top of Hotel Saint. Visit on a Friday while the weather's still appropriate. From 8pm til late to enjoy a live in house dj. Should you get peckish a restaurant is only 14 floors down.

Whilst I didn't enjoy my cocktail (work from home), it's comforting to know that beers, wines and spirits I'm fond of are available. It's a nice rooftop bar to take in the sights of the city and get your groove on.

Chandon Garden Spritz Bar

From August 29th - 10th September, Selfridges invited one and all to raise a toast with them at their Chandon Garden Spritz Bar. Made with Argentinian sparkling wine and orange bitter liquer and served over ice with rosemary. Chandon’s refreshing Garden Spritz apertif is the perfect drink to accompany the final days of summer sun.

Ultimate Provence at Sabine

It's the end of rooftop season and Sabine just said goodbye to summer over the weekend, with their ultimate provence rosé wine party. Dj Mel played some amazing tunes. It was my second time enjoying her dj-ing skills.

St Pauls rooftop bar
Guests were treated to delicious frozen cocktails and some rose wine from a larger than life Ultimate Provence bottle. Of which we received a smaller version in our goodie bags to take home.

The views from Sabine are insane. With unspoilt, close up views of St Paul's and the Shard, among other popular landmarks.

It was the perfect summer farewell with delicious canapés. The mini burgers and mac and cheese were my faves.

Sabine
Sabine has both indoor and outdoor seating and with outdoor heaters plus cozy blankets. There's no reason why you can't visit Sabine into Autumn.

Midnight Apothecary

Campfire cocktails and a museum tour? Sounds like the perfect way to see out summer of you ask me! With firepits and marshmallow toasting. Midnight Apothecary at the Brunel Museum in Rotherhithe is a hidden gem. Click here to see my in depth review.

Croissant Cone

British Patagonia

For the second time in London two of my favourite foods have combined to create an icecream filled croissant. (Click here to see the original) While the weather is still mild, head to the British Patagonia - a cafe in Islington to indulge in one of their ice crones. I tried the soft serve ice cream in a croissant, with hazelnut sauce and cookie crumble. It was very filling!
