The Mandrake turned 6 over the weekend and I managed to make an appearance to their exclusive birthday celebration amidst LFW. I couldn't miss this party as the Mandrake is a Saturday night hot spot and they sure know how to throw a party!
To to be fair, this night at the mandrake was literally an extension of London Fashion Week. There was even a Pinterest board for outfit inspo prior to the event. It was a night with some eccentric and stunning fashion on display.
Many London fashion week VIP's were also in attendance, as the Mandrake is the place to see and be seen.
Upon arrival, there was an interactive digital screen to dance in front of before being greeted by stunning silver clad staff holding a tray of complimentary limoncello shots. All of the staff are friendly and looked stylish. Complimenting the incredible surroundings of the Mandrake hotel.
I had visited the Mandrake years ago during the day for some tapas and drinks on the terrace. Voted best outdoor space. It's a place you need to visit both in the day and in the night.
Upstairs there's another bar where the Mandrake owner Rami Fustok gave a speech, in which he announced that some time in the Spring or Summer of 2024, the Mandrake will be set to expand into the space next door!
Delicious canapés circled round all night. It felt like New Years Eve! People watching is a lot of fun here, as the Mandrake is where - without judgement, you can play dress up and wear the most Avant-garde piece of clothing in your wardrobe!
After the speech from Rami Fustok, guests were treated to an 8 minute long live musical performance. Then it was party time with doors closing after 4am!

Enjoy live dj performances every Thursday - Saturday at Waeska - the European bar with a South American influence. Named after the hallucinogen ayahuasca. Waeska features an outside courtyard and a back room. Above the chic, bottle-lined bar, a hybrid, mythical part gazelle. Part peacock creature.
Jurema Terrace
My first visit was to Jurema terrace the stunning oasis that's the perfect day time destination during summer. Global winner of the outdoor space award, Jurema is located on the first-floor terrace.
Surrounded by a hanging garden of suspended jasmine and passionflower it overlooks the Courtyard with its soaring Tasmanian Ferns. Serving up Summer ethnobotanical cocktails and South American inspired dishes from the hotels restaurant - YOPO.
Perched just above Jurema, on the second floor, you will find a glasshouse bursting with exotic medicinal plants. The greenhouse is open to all guests as a place for relaxation and is also available for private dining, meetings and events.
