West London
Shepherd's Bush
Every day from the 8th December until Christmas eve in partnership with Disney's Wish. Westfield Shepherd's Bush "Wish Upon A Star" Santa experience will be giving children the chance to make a wish and send it on a star to Santa before meeting Santa in his sleigh!
This grotto experience is free, but you'll need to book a ticket in advance to claim your place. You can also take your own photos, making it London's most affordable "Meet Santa" experience. Children will also receive a gift from Santa, completing the magical moment.
Unfortunately all complimentary tickets are currently sold out, however slots may become available. So keep checking for cancellations. There may also be walk up slots available on a first come, first serve basis, however this is not guaranteed as ticket holders have priority.
South West London
Clapham
I took my 5 (almost 6) year old son to a free santa's grotto on the first Saturday of December 2023 at the omnibus theatre in Clapham South West London. Hosted by friends of Clapham for a festive morning of family friendly arts and crafts, where they decorated gingerbread men. Cupcakes and did some colouring in before going in to see father Christmas. My son left with a gift from father Christmas, which was a new reading book and there were also teddy bears being given out to children.

Deptford
At Deptford winter market on friday the 1st and saturday the 2nd of December there will be a free Santa's grotto between 11am-7pm.
Lewisham
On Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th of December Lewisham winter market host father christmas for free Santa's grotto. Just head down to Lewisham high street between 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
North London
Santa Claus is coming to town with a free Santa's grotto at the Engine Room in North London. On Saturday 2nd December between 12-4pm. However, you will need an advance ticket to attend.
