Host Café Review 

Host is a conversion of the St Mary Aldermary Church into a Café. This pretty. 300 year old church conversion has been in operation as a cafe since 2012. Open from 7.30am til 4pm Monday to Friday. 

I enjoyed a delicious iced mocha here. In the peaceful church hall. Which features tall. White ceilings. With the most beautiful design. White pillars and stained glass windows.

Customers ordering drinks and pastries from the host food counter can choose to sit at a table. Whilst anyone purchasing food or drink from the outside food stalls. Burrito Joe and Soulvaki By. Are welcome to come in to eat and drink in the intimacy of the church pews. 

Pews close at 2.30pm for cleaning. There are also a few benches outside. Perfect for when the weather is nice. 

Along with caffeineated drinks and tea. Host Café also whip up some fresh smoothies and soup.

Host Café uses mission coffee. An independent coffee roastery based in London. And available to purchase from host by the bag. Along with custom. Re-useable host coffee cups. 

This is one of my new favourite places to work remotely. Although laptop use is not currently encouraged at tables. If you can work from a phone. Paper and pen however. Then head to host Café. As it's just so peaceful here.
