A popular London past time is whiling away the day in a cafe or coffee shop. Either alone with ones laptop or two cosy lovers in their own world with hot drink and croissant never too far out of reach. With so many cafes and coffee shops across the city of London to choose from. I thought I would shine a light on the quirky cafes and coffee shops London has to offer. As these quirky London cafes and shops are different to the average cafe and well worth a visit.

The Tea Terrace

The tea terrace at Harrods Oxford Street, features two life size Cinderella princess carriages. Where food and drinks. Including afternoon tea can be enjoyed. Young girls will love it here. You must try their scones. They serve some of the best I've ever tasted and believe me I've tried a lot!

Yurt

If you've never been camping or glamping then you can get a taste for it on a visit to the quirky cafe that's actually a yurt. Where beverages. Breakfast. Lunch and snacks are served inside the Mongolian yurt throughout the day.

The Rolling Scones Cafe

London quirky cafe

There is a hidden oasis in east London. Filled with bold. Neon signs. Such an amazing place for taking pictures. Where you can purchase a lot of the signs that are on display. After a gander round the place known as God's own junkyard. Satisfy your palate beneath flashing lights at the rolling scones cafe. P.s...I wouldn't recommend taking young children here as most signs are quite raunchy.

Host

Host is a church. But not as you're used to. This church has been converted into a coffee shop. How quirky is that!

Cereal Killer Cafe

By the name alone. You get the idea that cereal killer is a quirky cafe and when you venture inside your suspicions are confirmed. With 90's memorabilia. Beds and all the different types of cereal you could possibly dream of. The menu is just as quirky with cereal infused food and drinks.

Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium

Sip tea in the presence of cats at Lady Dinah's cat emporium. With some cats available to adopt!

Biscuiteers

Biscuiteers have two London cafes where you can purchase pretty. Edible gifts and enjoy a quirky afternoon tea. I'll be honest though. Biscuiteers is a bit pricey and more touristy than anything. However, the biscuits at biscuiteers are pretty. Plus it's cool that you can try your hand at icing your own biscuits.

Elan Cafe

If you're after somewhere pink. Elan is your cafe of choice. With pink and cuteness overload. The food and drinks are just as pretty in pink as the furnishings. There are unicorns. Flower walls and love hearts galore.
