Tiffany&Co Celebrate 150 years in London
To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Tiffany & Co. in the London market. I attended the Vision and Virtuosity exhibition on the opening day at Saatchi Gallery in sloane Square London. Followed by breakfast at Tiffany's - Tiffany blue box cafe that is!
Vision and Virtuosity
The Tiffany&Co vision and virtuosity exhibition showcases 400 objects. Including the extraordinary Tiffany diamond. As well as the original script for Breakfast at Tiffany's in a themed room. Entirely for the film. Even the original Givenchy gown worn by Audrey Hepburn is on display there!
TiffanyandCo vision and virtuosity exhibition spans across three floors at the Saatchi gallery and exceeded my already high expectations. From the moment you first enter. Iconic jewels are cleverly displayed in very artistic ways. It's definitely an exhibition you need to experience with your own eyes.
An hour passes by very quickly in here and it's a nice. Relaxing experience with ambient lighting and music. Some of the impressive diamond jewelry on display is on loan by its owner for the exhibition.

Tiffany and Co was founded in New York in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany and John B. Young. Tiffany&Co has since gone on to become a household name in the world of luxury and fine jewellery.
One such moment that helped cement Tiffany's place in history is their positive starring role in 1961 movie classic. Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Love it or hate it. Everyone remembers something from the eternally popular. Vintage romance movie that is Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Whether it's moon River that's stuck on repeat in your head. Or the glamorous opening movie scene. Where we first meet Miss Holly Golightly. Played by Audrey Hepburn. As she steps out of her taxi in front of the flagship Tiffany Jewellery store. Who can forget the stunning black givenchy gown she wore. Complete with gloves!
Other concepts that help Tiffany&Co to stand in a lane of their own. Are the fact that they only ever make pure. Sterling silver jewellery items. Each one stamped with the Tiffany&Co mark of the metal.
When it comes to gold. All Tiffany gold is sourced from a site free from cyanide extraction processes. The Bingham Canyon Mine in Salt Lake City, Utah to be precise.
To me. The most impressive moment in Tiffany history is the invention of their stunning engagement ring. Charles Lewis Tiffany invented the most iconic engagement ring of all time. By setting a diamond in the center of a ring on six raised prongs. The diamond appears to almost float above the silver band and is designed to capture your attention as it catches the light.
Then there's the trademark Tiffany blue colour. The Tiffany blue colour has been trademarked since 1998 and is the colour used for packaging and gift boxes.
As for the Tiffany blue box cafe. It's a luxury breakfast cafe that also serves afternoon tea and dinner in its Tiffany blue coloured dining room at Harrods in London.
To celebrate 150 years of luxury Jewelry brand Tiffany. Harrods was lit up in blue lights on the Tuesday prior to my breakfast at Tiffany blue box. The turning blue of Harrods on the 7th June 2022 was a first in Harrods 173 year history!

I've been meaning to visit Tiffany blue box cafe for ages and the 150th birthday of Tiffany and Co. seemed like the perfect moment. What with the new Vision and Virtuosity exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery. Launched the very same day this article was published.
Breakfast at Tiffany blue box cafe is a three course meal affair. Beginning with some fresh fruits. Followed by your choice of croissant. I chose the chocolate and my husband enjoyed a lemon curd filled croissant.
The croissants at Tiffany blue box cafe are uniquely square shaped with half a dusting of icing sugar.
For mains at Tiffany blue box cafe. We ordered Eggs Florentine. Poached Cacklebean Farm Eggs, Spinach and Brown-Butter Hollandaise Served on Potato Rosti. Plus the Fifth Avenue Bagel. Faroe Islands Smoked Salmon. Whipped Cream Cheese with Cucumber. Lemon and Dill.
There's a large selection of tea choices as well as orange juice served as part of breakfast at Tiffany blue box cafe.

After breakfast at Tiffany blue box cafe. We headed to the ground floor of Harrods. Where the official Tiffany jewellery store is located. With another mini exhibition taking place there to our surprise. Lastly. I went to the perfume section of Harrods to sample Tiffany&Co perfumes. Of which there were four to try.
