What we ate and drank this Christmas

Christmas Day has come and gone and the most important thing people want to know is what did you eat and what did you drink! Well this year for Christmas we enjoyed some delicious turkey, vegan turkey and asparagus, plus macaroni and cheese, which is a favourite and a traditional favourite dish that we indulge in at this time of year.

We also enjoyed some sweet treats from lindt in the form of a Santa Claus and his reindeer chocolates. A lindor cracker which contains chocolate truffles, Bailey's - the chocolate version which is delicious. It was my first time trying the chocolate version of Bailey's but traditional Baileys is usually enjoyed in our household at this time of year.

I also received a box with ultimate province, Rosé wine mulled wine tea bag spices, a mulled wine candle, bottle opener, two Ultimate province govino glasses, some garnishing, and even some fairy lights for decoration. The mulled rosé was a wonderful edition to our festive drinking and we were able to enjoy some hot glasses of mulled rosé in our garden by an open fire.

Christmas desserts
We also enjoyed some panettone bread from Harrods which was a chocolate and cherry panettone and a chocolate and cherry melting middle bombe cake - both from Harrods food hall. Along with matching Christmas spiced tea and Christmas spiced coffee, plus a Christmas spiced honey - because tea tastes best with honey. If you didn't know already!

Christmas food
Traditionally we also tend to have Terry's chocolate orange at this time of year and so we enjoyed some Terry's chocolate orange along with mince pies best served with cream and a chocolate Yule log cake.
